But after a botched surgery left her brain-dead and beyond all medical hope, a harrowing near-death episode became the first in a series of seven brushes with death that would unravel everything she thought she knew about God—and reveal what her faith had never prepared her for.
Today Kim unleashes vocal potential as a master vocal coach and vocal repair expert and consults for Christian radio stations through her work at TheVoiceClub.com. She serves as the loudest voice in her worship team at Calvary Chapel Springfield MO, where she remains a well fed sheep.
